Look at this unbelievable transformation. The pull-out shelves were already installed, but they presented a difficult situation. The clearance of each shelf would not allow us to stand a box of cereal, or a tall container of olive oil upright.
We re-evaluated the client's cooking and baking needs, and designed a simple system so their young son (and Nanny) could grab snacks. After we were done, it was also fairly easy to restock and see what everyone had. Simple retro-styled opaque polypropoline boxes line each shelf giving just enough area for distinct catagories to "live." And we labeled each container, which could be grabbed with one hand-- without pulling the shelf out.
