Let's face it: holiday decor can be a big investment.
So why not treat your ornaments with the respect they deserve? Not only will you pamper your precious commodities, you'll save them from total destruction in the years ahead. So ditch the bubble wrap and the newsprint and use acid-free archival tissue. Why? Watch our newest video (only 90 seconds) and see why.
We shot some video at the 2008 Los Angeles Organizing Expo last September and we're not just getting to posting some of them. How other organizing bloggers get their video and pictures up so soon we'll never know.
We interviewed Dorothy Breininger, professional organizer and principle of the Delphi Center for Organization, a Southern California-based organizing and consulting firm and overall organizing industry expert. Dorothy brought the Delphi VIM to the Organizing Expo to showcase their comprehensive online system to store and access your vital information, documents and records. The system is perfect for busy people, folks who travel, elderly parents with caregivers, and children.

Welcome to the weekend when we post reader video recommendations.
Check out this Rubbermaid video which aired on television sets across the United States. From what we've read, Rubbermaid ran several successful campaigns using classic storybook characters. Now, how sexist is this video? The woman in the shoe? What would Sarah Palin say?
If you're reading our blog on RSS or Feedblitz, click here to get over to the main site and watch this quick video. So much fun. Does you think she needs to organize that patchwork quilt she's wearing as an apron? One thing for sure, the ad is relative genius because it shows how a busy woman can get even a small space organized.
These videos are for the amusement of our weekend blog readers. We're continuing to feature organizing videos that are satirical, irreverent, smart or just plain fun. If you are reading the blog on RSS or Feedblitz and want to see the videos you should click over to the main site.

Last Tuesday, we attented an organizing seminar hosted by Staples and our friend Donna Smallin.
Donna, author of The One-Minute Organizer, flew in from Phoenix to present a series of organizing seminars and give Los Angeles-area writers and bloggers an opportunity to learn more about a new line of fun, stylish organizing tools designed for M by Staples.
Donna was such a good sport. She agreed to be filmed in a few exclusive videos for OrganizingLA reviewing segments of her seminar while talking about the great new M products we're all sure to love. This is the first of three-- you can see this one, 14 stories high above Wilshire Boulevard.
If you're reading this post on Feedblitz or RSS, click here to see the video. You can see all our YouTube videos by clicking here.
Stay tuned for more videos from Donna and the M by Staples line, including some fun product giveaways!
Any thoughts on the new product line that we can pass along to Donna?

Is procrastination a part-time job for you? Here is an oldie but a goodie. We've even posted it in 2005, but that was prior to being able to actually post video directly onto the blog.
