Michael Andretti hit his throttle recently and decided to organize his celebrity garage.
IZOD IndyCar team owner and 2012 Celebrity Apprentice contestant, Andretti started off with a disordered disaster, typical of most garage decluttering projects:
“Our garage was a mess, and our stuff was all over the place. Not only did we need to get our things in order, we wanted to do it with style. It was important to me and my wife, Jodi, that our garage could reflect the same level of style as the rest of our home...”

Sleek cabinets compliment the home's "Old World" feel, continuing the warm and inviting environment found in the rest of the home.
The space serves family’s primary storage for outdoor coats, boots, holiday and Christmas decorations, outdoor equipment, and racing gear. Hidden interior plugs were installed for tucking away and charging tools and flashlights. Trash and recycling drawers were added to lessen the clutter and the chandelier adds a bit of drama and elegance to the space. Racing memorabilia was strategically positioned above the garage cabinets for display and can be seen through clever built-in plexi-glass door fronts.
The son of Mario Andretti chose Holland, Michigan-based ORG system to build-out the garage at his Indianapolis home. Andretti then decluttered and organized the contents into the new system. ORG was clever and brought in solutions found in clothes closets. Some of the ideas you could replicate in your own garage and of course you can hire an ORG dealer to come design one just for you.

Readers, do you think Andretti crossed the finish line first with his garage?
