Will Angelina Joile and Brad Pitt change the way the world sees Hollywood parents?
It's a best kept secret in Hollywood that many parents in the public eye have agreements with their Nanny's to not leave the house alone with the kids. Paparazzi stalkers love to snap photos of a caregiver taking care of someone else's children. Indirectly, the perception is that the celebrity is a "terrible" parent because they're too busy to spend time with their children. Do you really believe that? We suspect that the next wave of "Hollywood Celebrities" will be Nannies, for good or for bad. We wonder what happened to Madonna's book?
The reality is, this is probably fabrication in the tabloids. Talk has that most Hollywood parents could care less about what the public thinks about them. They're secure in knowing when they need to step in and parent, and know when to step back and get some help.
TMZ today has a small piece today about Ms. Joile and Mr. Pitt's children, and how they're number one, despite the rumors. Sources say their homes in Hollywood and at the Beach are not perfect. In fact, they're "dirty from the kids" -- with toys everywhere, food on the floor and fingerprints on the walls."
Do you think people in the public eye have to live at a higher standard than the rest of us?
