It's really rare that we discover some DIY-project worth sharing. Today is your lucky day.
The problem is, most DIY-projects look, well, DIY. Sloppy, cheap, flimsy, and well (forgive us) very design-on-a-dime. Many projects we've discovered in client's private spaces are completely unfinished, and they sit lonely, 1/2-done. Wanting. Needing. For You.
Of course there is always the exception. While surfing through Poppytalk, we found a very easy project that looks great if you did one, or one-hundred. Anything in multiples, gathered together, generally looks pleasing and pulled-together. And this project is easy-- so easy you're not likely to drop your craft-y inner self and move onto to the next mountain.
So grab that bag full of scraps under your bed. Forget about having your upholsterer whip up that snappy pillow for you. Just cut your piece to fit inside an embroidery hoop, hang and you've got instant art.
Use this trick and you'll finally surround yourself something you love, not something that clutters up your cabinet.
Do you have a great DIY trick similar to this? Care so share?
