The exciting new relationship between Macy's and Martha Stewart continues to move forward for an '08 release date
Macy’s and Martha Stewart Omnimedia have chosen Wedgwood to create a bridal and tabletop line that will be available next year as part of the retailer’s exclusive collection.
Martha Stewart design teams will oversee the creation of the line, which will include both casual and formal giftware, as well as stemware and flatware. Waterford Wedgwood will be responsible for manufacturing and distributing the line. Wedgwood will distribute it internationally, according to Waterford Wedgwood.
Wedgwood crafts quintessentially English china with a rich heritage. The company has established exciting design partnerships with fashion designers, Jasper Conran, Vera Wang and artist Robert Dawson to develop contemporary and stylish ranges that appeal to the younger consumer. Martha will help (presumable in this segment).
