OrganizingLA is proud to be participating in this Saturday's Wine & Fries, benefiting The Los Angeles Ronald McDonald House. Fries & Wine is A "Fast Food Wine Tasting" with a special live performance by Michael Buble and promises to be quite memorable.
The historic location, Green Acres Estate, was once owned by silent film star Harold Lloyd. During his time, the 44-room house had a whopping 26 bathrooms—until his death in 1971. It cost the modern-day equivalent of more than $25 million to build the home, which also included a 60-foot long entry hall and a massive drawing room which also functioned as a theater and a solarium. Naturally, the estate has become a sought-after site for filmmakers looking to portray Beverly Hills opulence.
The Los Angeles Ronald McDonald House provides a “home away from home,” reducing the stress of sick children in treatment and their families; eases families’ worries about care, finances and family life, and creates understanding and support from the community.
This one of a kind fundraiser will include live music, open bar and an eclectic array of wine and food. At the Silent Auction, we're offering a special "get organized" gift certificate which includes a two-hour "Kick-Off" session and a follow-up four-hour personal appointment-- a $740 value. And we'll be there in-person at the party, to join in on the fun, just one mile up the hill from the Beverly Hills Hotel.
