Upate 11/08 - Auction Depot LA has closed its doors, but we're keeping this post up for the archives.
LOS ANGELES, CA -- OrganizingLA, a Southern California Professional Organizing Company, has formed a strategic alliance with Auction Depot LA, announced John Trosko, President and C.O.O. (Chief Organizing Officer.) Effective March 15, 2006, organizing clients who work with OrganizingLA, will receive the opportunity to sell their unwanted items through the exclusive on-line trading partner. Auction Depot LA is the first strategic alliance for OrganizingLA.
"This is truly a perfect match,” said Trosko.
"Los Angeles professional organizing and a service-oriented means for clients to make some extra bucks through eBay. OrganizingLA and Auction Depot LA share the same high standards of commitment to excellence and need for privacy. Both organizations continue to enhance the client’s experience with valued and innovative services. We look forward to a mutually beneficial relationship.”
Clients booking organizing sessions with OrganizingLA--- walk-in closets, garages, gourmet kitchens, art studios, butler pantries and business offices--- will be offered the opportunity to utilize Auction Depot LA to sell unwanted items. These include electronics, surfboards, house wares, china, collectibles, clothing and even artwork and watches. According to Adam Ward, President, CEO, of the 1-year old Auction Depot LA, the service will become a useful feature for OrganizingLA clients: “There is value on both sides of the sale: value for the buyer and value for the seller. Buyers will receive high-quality merchandise and sellers will benefit from some extra cash for their unwanted treasures as well as freeing up space in any cramped quarters.”
"Auction Depot LA will photograph auction items and create a professional listing on eBay,” according to Ward. “We will handle all the research to determine what clients can expect for their item and work with them to sell items at a price that they are comfortable with! During the auction, we’ll answer all prospective buyer questions while storing items in a secure, safe location, collect payment when the item is sold and send a check representing the sell price less applicable fees to the client."
“Clients may also opt to donate the funds raised to a charity of their choice,” adds Trosko.
