It wasn't ALL about the Academy Awards this weekend.....
Some interesting items in this Sunday's Los Angeles Times:
You heard it here first-- As promised, the Hansel and Gretel home built in 1927 by Roland Hill (architect of Disneyland's Sleeping Beauty Castle) was Home of the Week in the Real Estate Section:
"In their heyday, Storybook-style houses were built from California to Connecticut, but they were most popular in the Hollywood Hills, near the industry that straddles fantasy and reality."
The Star Treatment - If you live in "Hollywood" and want to offer your home to a film crew, you'd better make sure it's uncluttered:
"If you your house isn't too cluttered and has space to accommodate cameras and lights, it may have a promising place in showbiz."
