The Los Angeles Chapter of the National Association of Professional Organizers, is sponsoring it's first annual Los Angeles Organizing Awards on January 30th, 2006. And the public is invited to vote for the winners, but hurry-- votes must be in by November 30th.

The first Annual Los Angeles Organizing Awards will help recognize those responsible for making individuals more organized and productive at home, work, and play. Vote for your favorite book about organizing and favorite place to buy organizing products at the NAPO-LA website. Ballots may be cast though November 30, 2005.
The 100-member National Association of Professional Organizers-Los Angeles chapter (NAPO-LA), event sponsor, is the premier regional association for professional organizers. Membership consists of organizing consultants, speakers, authors and manufacturers of organizing products who serve both residential and commercial clients. Services range from home and business organizing, information and time management, to coaching and training.
A total of fifteen awards will be presented at Maggiano’s at the Grove in Los Angeles on January 30, 2006. The event will be the culmination of the 2006 Get Organized Month festivities. The evening will celebrate the outstanding contributions to the organization and productivity profession. Recognition to the media, authors, organizing products, organizing retailers, mentors, charities and technology providers are just a part of the planned evening. Also, other annual chapter awards will be presented including the prestigious “Leading Edge Award,” given in recognition to a NAPO-LA member whose actions and efforts elevate the quality or profile of professional organizers.
Festivities begin with a cocktail reception mixer & silent auction at 6 pm, with a four-course dinner following at 7 pm. Shortly after dinner is served, the Awards presentation will commence, hosted by a Master of Ceremonies and featuring a multi-media presentation highlighting the members and activities of NAPO-LA. Tickets are $75 per person for the evening and the public is invited.

The National Association of Professional Organizers began in Los Angeles in 1985 with a handful of members. Today, NAPO has 3,500-members around the world and is the largest organization dedicated to the professional organizing industry.
