OrganizingLA Blog reader, Denise Wakeman, sent us a note this afternoon about a great item she discovered. Denise's product is a perfect pumpkin side-dish to our "10 Tips to a Better Business Conference" we wrote last July.
"Hi John-- ever since you told me about using a notebook to write down everything that goes on, tasks, phone calls, ideas, etc., I've been doing that. Today at FedEx Kinko's I found a cool notebook from Wilson Jones with tabs and vinyl covers. Not cheap but nice looking for the ICF Conference I will be presenting at in November. Thanks for the tips!"
Here's what Denise was talking about-- click here. Let these notebooks replace all your phone pads, post-it notes or scrap papers. Use the pads to write down everything-- and utilize a check off/highlighting system to note which projects are "done" or 1/2-done. It's a system that I learned while working at Disney Animation. You'll find this trick saves you time during your day-- you can even tape your post-it notes onto the pages if that works for you.
Do you know of an office supply product you'd like to recommend to our readers? I'd love to hear about it.
