Organizing Mummies

With Thanksgiving just around the corner, we have to ask:  have you finished storing your Halloween decorations?

Scott Roewer, Washington D.C. based organizing industry expert shared this picture with us.  Scott says that organizing and storing Halloween decorations, ghosts, black cats, bats, scarecrows, witches, bones and mummies are just another "normal" day at work.  Is this part of your day, too?

So, do you think we're "dead" on with this post?  What's your biggest challenge when it comes to organizing holiday decor?

I’m glad you found the photo humorous. We had great fun packing up Halloween. The client just moved in to their home and bought all new Halloween decor. They wanted things packed away so they could easily be found next year. They like turning their Georgetown Mansion into a Haunted Mansion each year.
That same day I pulled all the Christmas stuff out so their decorator could go through what they had and determine what he would use in their new house. I’ve convinced the client, the decor not used this year will be donated BEFORE Christmas so others can use it in their home.
Really physical work days such as this one are days you’re thankful the client has an elevator in their home. 🙂
    Happy Organizing –
    Scott

P.S. – The biggest challenge that day was finding a container large enough for that Mummy! We ended up using a Christmas Tree storage bag from the Container Store. I couldn’t find a container large enough without squishing him. It’s almost like he need a coffin.
