NSGCD Announces 2008 Conference in St. Louis

NSGCD Conference 2008

The National Study Group on Chronic Disorganization (NSGCD) has announced their upcoming conference.

September 25-27, 2008.  St. Louis (St. Charles Embassy Suites).

You can hear all about NSGCD in this video interview filmed earlier this year the Los Angeles Organizing Awards.  Our friend and professional organizer Lynne Johnson, Immediate Past President of NSGCD is on camera.

The featured speaker at the conference is Dr. Gail Steketee, Professor and interim Dean at the Boston University School of Social Work.  Dr. Steketee has conducted research studies, written 7 books and published over 160 articles on obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD) and panic and OC spectrum conditions. Her sessions are Compulsive Hoarding; Cognitive Strategies in the Treatment and Management of Hoarding and Chronic Disorganization; and Enhancing Motivation during the Organizing Process.

All conference sessions are plenary, there are no break-out sessions.

Should be well worth the time if you are in St. Louis!
