NAPO San Francisco Announces Regional Organizing Conference

In October, we’re planning on visiting San Francisco and attending the Regional Conference for  Professional Organizers.

It’s always fun and very educational.  And we get to see lots of old friends.  One our LA colleagues, Chantale Bordonaro of Simplicity Source in Redondo Beach, is providing her expertise during a breakout session.

Chantale will show us how to plan and execute a successful relocation move.  I can’t wait to see what tips she’ll give (although I have learned some of her top secret tips already!)  We might even stop by and see one of own own clients near Santa Rosa.  And finally, if we don’t see our blogging friend Jeri Dansky I’ll just die (are you listening Jeri?)

Here’s the information to the Conference if you’re curious, plus a link to get more information.

Registration is now open for the 19th Annual Regional Conference by the San Francisco Bay Area Chapter of NAPO:  Balance Realized.

  • Saturday, October 27, 2007
  • San Ramon Marriott Hotel, San Ramon, California
  • 18 information-filled workshops covering a wide variety of topics geared to professional organizers
  • Networking with 200 colleagues
  • Industry vendors featuring their newest products and services

Keynote Speakers Include:

Rando_red_jacket_140_2Caterina Rando – (pictured left) – Business Coach and author of Learn to Power Think, opens the day with a keynote address on "Balance Stamina– How to Realize It Day After Day" by exposing the biggest internal and external balance zappers that continually challenge us.

Judith_kolbergJudith Kolberg – (pictured right) – Founder of the National Study Group on Chronic Disorganization, author of Conquering Chronic Disorganization and Organize for Disaster: Prepare Your Family and Your Home for Any Natural or Unnatural Disaster, and co-author of ADD-Friendly Ways to Organize Your Life will wrap up the day in a closing session on "Balance/Off-Balance/Rebalance – A Strategy for a Successful Organizing Business."

    John,
The host hotel (San Ramon Marriott Hotel) has a special conference room rate of only $69! Good thru September 15th.
And you’ll want to fly into Oakland, not SFO.

I’m listening, John – and I’m so thrilled you’ll be attending. See you there! It should be a great day; I’ve really enjoyed the past two conferences.

Thanks for conference info. I hope to attend, it sounds fantastic! You cant beat San Fran in the Fall either. Also the tip on the room special was very helpful.

    John:
This is a special welcome to LA Chapter members to attend the NAPO-SFBA annual regional conference October 27. The special hotel rate of $69 is good through October 12, not September 15. The latter was our early bird registration deadline. For the hotel reservation, you’ll need to mention or enter the special Group Code “natnata.” Barbara Hemphill will be attending as our platinum sponsor. We cap registration at 200 and we already have 145 signed up.
