Video: Spring is the Perfect Time to Organize Christmas

Spring fling is in full swing.

One of the most valuable investments you can make this season is to ensure your Christmas holiday decorations are properly cared for, in anticipation of next season.  Are your ornaments, lights, garland and precious tree toppers sitting precariously, teetering on the brink of breakage and disaster?

These are not just any videos, they were taken with our new PowerShot SD 630.  Purchased last December, we made a valiant effort to incorporate video into the blog.  Of course other pressing concerns came about and the posting never happened.  We discovered them recently.  So allow us to experiment today (completely out of season) and see if our tips can motivate you to tackle your least favorite storage issue, be it Christmas or not.

Video Tips to Handle Flocking and Christmas Tree Lighting:

Video Tips to Organize Your Holiday Ornaments:

While you’re pulling your bunnies and eggs out for Easter, protect your Christmas investments.  Use acid-free tissue (shredded and non-shredded), and toss some rubber or latex gloves in the box with your lights– use the gloves when handling your flocked tree so you’ll save your skin a possible reaction.

Speaking of reaction, we’d love to hear your comments about the information we’re presenting, or the quality of the videos.  Again, it’s our first effort.

It’s a great idea to have videos for some types of projects. The video/audio quality and videographer skill is good. I don’t mean to be too critical but I didn’t learn more from “seeing these particular videos vs reading the same information. I think it would be helpful to see a project from beginning to end –maybe you can speed up the viewing so that it’s not too slow (and long).
I enjoy your blog. I love this idea.
