We entered the GreenPlug “What’s Under Your Desk” Photo Sweepstakes this week.
May we "proudly" present our entry:
"As a professional organizer, I help people be better organized so they can spend more time doing the things you really care about. But in my own office, it’s been less than easy—and I’ve spent some time creating a system under my desk for the maze."

"By attaching the wires to the underneath of the desk (click on picture to enlarge), much of the visual clutter is eliminated. Maybe this haiku can shed some light on the subject?"
wires and plugs lay
sad, tangled, like a lost love
there is hope with tape!
Okay, we may not win a haiku contest, but maybe we'll win this contest? Ah, which Beverly Hills lunch hotspot will we go? The Ivy, Spago, Barney Greengrass, Nate'n Al or maybe someplace simple like Urth Caffé on Beverly?
UPDATE: See our entry here, and other entries here. Also, the contest has been extended through May 1st.

I wish I had called you first. I did cord disaster realignment today with the Signum from Ikea after reading happy posts about it.
I still have cord clutter. I see now the key is to mount the plugs under the desk. Hard to do with a 15 pound battery back-up unit though. ugh.
I'm posting my insignificant changes on organizinggym.blogspot.com

I am totally anal retentive when it comes to cords. Awesome accessory if you use a laptop is the Rolodex/Rubbermaid laptop stand and A/C + USB hub. I actually insert the hub in backwards so I can plug my laptop power cord and my main accessory USB cord in underneath. It allows me to easily grab the laptop and power cord when I am on the run and hides it the plug and transformer when I am at home while keeping everything accesible. I can email you pictures.
Also - USB hub, wireless keyboard, mouse and printer, great way to eliminate even more cords.
Check out my Monkey See video on organizing cords http://tinyurl.com/5qrgjj. Sounds like a fun prize. Good luck with the contest!
