Instinct Magazine Features John Trosko In March Print and Online Issues

Mar_cover_instinctmagazineAs I mentioned last February, I wrote an article for Instinct Magazine completely from scratch.

It was a really fun experience, but insanely challenging.  We had a goal of 800-words, and the theme of "spring cleaning" which I eventually changed to "spring fling" along with the tag line "Get Organized and Get Your Life Back."

I haven't had the chance to boast about how excited I was to be in a national magazine, because I also pitched an on-line article too which needed to be written for a deadline mid-March.

The print article pushed the "10 Steps to Get Organized."  The website piece cited my favorite organizing products and services, which included Neat Receipts, 3M, 1-800-GOT JUNK, Design Within Reach, Pendaflex, P-Touch, Iris Containers, Exposures, Microsoft, California Closets and Belkin Electronics.

As I mentioned in February, Instinct Magazine is a hip, irreverent young magazine for gay men.  In fact, it's America's #1 gay men's magazine and is often being referred to as a clever mix of Cosmo and Details for gay men.  So I am so honored to have had this opportunity.  Here's what the contributor's page said:

"Known in Hollywood as the 'king of chaos control,' organizing expert John Trosko introduces tips and tricks to bring disorder out of the closet and into this month's Home & Fashion Issue... "Being disorganized shouldn't be a life-sentence," he says.  "It's about producing a plan, retraining bad habits into good and sticking to a routine.  Oh and keeping your sense of humor.""

If you hurry, you can catch the last newsstand copies.  We've also placed copies in our press page.
